Flor Scale:
Score 0: No floating cells
Score 1: Scattered floating cells that cover some area of the liquid surface
Score 2: Scattered floating cells that cover larger area of the liquid surface
Score 3: Floating cell clumps that cover some area of the liquid surface
Score 4: Floating cell clumps that cover all liquid surface
Phenotyping Approach:
Flor was phenotyped using 96-well plates containing 200ul of liquid synthetic dextrose (SD) medium (0.67% yeast nitrogen base without amino acids and with ammonium sulfate and 2% dextrose) per well. Flor was scored under a light microscope after 5-day 30C incubation manually.
